hi y'all!

enjoying our new surroundings, but missing our friends and family. we're making sure to stay very busy (touring nashville, picnics in the park, fishing)...

tennessee living

our move went well. dominic made it through the 10 hour car ride like a champ! thanks to all of you who gave him such fun car-ride activities!

so far, tennessee is beautiful! the scenery here is gorgeous, the weather is warm, it's mostly been sunny... it doesn't really feel like home yet though. i imagine this will take some time to get used to. we really miss our friends and family!

right now we are living in franklin (see these sites for info: http://www.franklin-gov.com/ and http://www.visitwilliamson.com/) but hope to relocate to spring hill before kindergarten starts. school starts here already on august 12th!

we've taken a few photos since our arrival, but the download cord is packed in an unknown box... i'll post these as soon as i can. i'm especially excited to post the ones that i took of dominic a few days ago; we had a wonderful afternoon at the park! we wore shorts, picnicked in the park, hiked a small mountain, and walked barefoot in a stream. it was a great day!
