school bus incident

As I waited for the bus to drop Dominic off...I was watching the time because it comes at the exact same time every day. At 4 minutes late, I heard a bunch of sirens on the busy road near our subdivision. With Mommy senses tingling, I jumped in my car and headed out in search of my son. As I was driving, I received a call that Dominic's bus was involved in a traffic accident but there were no injuries. Scariest moment of my life! And the authorities wouldn't release the kids to the parents; they had to be moved to another bus and dropped at the regular stop. Finally after 2 hours of being on the bus, I got to see & hold Dominic.
