the perks of a zoo pass
on the spur of the moment today, dominic and mommy decided to spend the day at the zoo. it was SUPER hot, we got SUPER sweaty, and we had a SUPER time!
these are some of my favorite moments of the day...
The porch that Dominic is standing on is the front porch of the Croft House. The Croft sisters owned their family's farmland & house until the last sister died in the 1980's. The house and farmland was deeded to Nashville to become a museum. We learned today that as a museum it wasn't making money, so in honor of the sisters who dearly loved animals, their farm became the zoo in 1998.
