first day of kindergarten

today is dominic's 1st day of kindergarten!  what a big boy already.... wow!

upon arriving at the school and signing in, we went to the cafeteria where there were introductions of the teachers and a reading of "going on a bear hunt".  the parents got to stay for that part, which was nice.

when the story was done, however, i had to leave my baby there.  he did great.... it was i who struggled.   i at least made it out the front door before i started crying.
